As you descend the hill overlooking Portsmouth, continue onto the A27, signposted London. Approximately 3/4mile further, take the exit for the A2030 signposted Southsea/Milton/Farlington. At the interchange turn right onto the A2030 (you cross under the dual carriageway) and follow the road into Portsmouth. Continue along this road (Eastern Road) until you reach a large traffic light controlled junction. Turn left which takes you onto Milton Road. St James Church is 1/4 mile along this road directly opposite Milton Park. It is signposted from the road. From the East/London and the A3 Proceed South along A3, past Junction 5 and the road will descend the hill into Portsmouth. As the dual carriageway merges with the A27, stay in the left hand lane. Leave the A27 at the Junction signposted A2030, Southsea/Milton/Farlington. At the interchange turn left onto the A2030 and follow the road into Portsmouth. Continue along this road (Eastern Road) until you reach a roundabout. Turn left onto Milton Road. St James Church is 1/4 mile along this road directly opposite Milton Park.
